The AU is again riling against the ICC, pushing against the court to defer the start of the trial against Sudanese president until the end of his presedential term (as well as for the Kenyan president).
The UN security council has the right to delay the start of court by a year and can be repeated indefinitely. This could weaken a beleaguered ICC. Although this seems an unlikely development.
